FIC cards went home on Monday, September 8th. Please review, fill out, sign and date, and return to your child's teacher. We need 100% of our cards returned.

This means that the county government loses the property tax revenue that it might otherwise have earned if the federal government had not acquired the property. Compensation for this loss, known as Impact Aid, is paid to Okaloosa school district for the "substantial and continuing financial burden" that results from federal activities. LJPS receives a portion of this money.

In honor of Patriot Day on Thursday, September 11, all LJPS students and staff may wear a red, white, or blue shirt with their uniform bottoms.

Today (Monday, September 8th) every student will bring home their Federal Impact Card (FIC). Please ask your student for this card today.
