Phyllis, what can I say? We dreamed of Apple Valley together and got Liza. The school we conjured up in Ed. Leadership classes. We bounced so many theories and ideas off each other. What will I do now? I never thought you would have left me here. Rest in peace, my friend, until we meet again. Find Kim Alford and start putting our new school together. (LOL) I love you.

Well what can I say? You have made school a better place for me and other students. You took an intrest in me at a young age and never stoped, you always said that i could and would do great things and I have. You solved so many problems for me as a little 2 grader to now. I know that many of the students were afrade of you, i wasnt but that doesnt mean that i didnt have a very healthy respect for you eather. All im trying to say is that I love you so much, and the school will NEVER be the same without you there. My family will miss you and we all hope you rest in peace. <3

Liza and the community has lost one of its best. She was always so energetic and helped drive our children to achieve more and be better. Lexi says she will miss Mrs. Green popping into her classroom for a quick dance session. I will miss her smile in the car line in the mornings. Praying for her family, her students and her coworkers. We are better for knowing her.

I walk out to my patio and I see all the plants Phyllis has brought me and know in the spring when they bloom she will be smiling down on us. She loved her plants and taught me so much about them. There wasn't a day at Liza that I didn't cross the hall or yell across to ask her a question. She was always so patient with me and took the time to explain how to do so many parts of my job. Her easy smile and caring ways will be missed so much. I am so proud to have called her my friend. She will never be forgotten.

What can I say about my wonderful mother? You all honor her with your kind words and I laughed and cried reading some of the stories. This is an incredibly difficult time for the family but I want you all to know that you were her family, too. I know you all through stories. She absolutely loved you. I will never forget her and I know you won't, either. The only thing that seems to help is that old cliche, she wouldn't want you to be sad.

What a sad loss for Liza! Ms. Green was the first person we met at Liza when we came to town. She toured us through the school and we knew we wanted to be a part of her group there. Our middle school son is grieving her loss, and we are all in shock that such a lively, strong, caring and creative person has left us. Our condolences to her family. She will be missed.

Well after going to the funeral today I realized how much of an impact Ms.Green made in everyones life. Ms.Green was one of the few teachers who were there when I needed her and belived in me no matter what. The biggest thing I will miss is whenever any student or teacher heard the click of heals in the halls we would automatically know Ms.Green is coming! She will forever be in our hearts and Liza Jackson won't be the same with out her. <3

Ms. Green was a caring, lovely, gracious lady. Her true concern for every child at Liza was evident. She was also a champion of the arts in our school and it was my privilege to work with her on behalf of the Thespians. She understood just how important this extracurricular was to our children and how it could have a positive influence on their curricular activities. She was so supportive as I found my way as the new director this year and I will miss her very, very much. My deepest sympathies go out to her family.

Phyllis Green or Fillis as Firehouse Subs would spell it (LOL). You were calm and reassuring to everyone who needed help, advice, a shoulder to cry on and you even listened when tears of joy fell and tears of sadness. Well Rounded Lady, Educator, Friend, Mother, Wife, Co-Worker, Principal, Leader and the list goes on and on. We have had many great years together and I can tell you it is going to be so very hard not hearing you on my phone calling me knower of all things and visiting me with your list of students. I am going to miss coming down the hall and ploppinig down in your seat to discuss our cats antics and solutions in making them behave or Tyler and his grades and way to handle a 14 year old know it all. I will miss your cutting people off when you answered the phone because you just could not get "it" I am going to miss your presence in my daily life but you will never, ever be forgotten and be in my mind and heart always. Hugs and Forever Love! Missy

When I look back at the first time I walked in Liza Jackson Preparatory School's doors I remember being terrified that I wouldn't be successful but Mrs. Green took me in and helped me make it through these past few years. After that I was able to look up at her because she was not afraid to stand up for this school and I think that is the reason that Liza Jackson is the way it is. This school would never have been the same or be the same without her. I believe that without people like Mrs. Phyllis Green this nation wouldn't be what is today. Who know that one person could make that much of a difference. She is greatly loved and will be greatly missed. She is in the hands of the Savior and will be watching over us and Liza Jackson until we join her in his arms. Rest in Peace and remember that you are LOVED!

Then at that point there was no Rachel's challenge. I told my mom and we contacted mrs. green she helped us through it. She made me so happy I hugged her she was startled at first but then returned the hug. If Mrs.green has taught me on thing, it is never ever ever just watch some one get bullied or picked on.
